Whiskey Run is a Breeding , Training and Sales Center owned and operated by Charlie and Peggy Moore in Shelbyville, TN.

Charlie and Peggy each have over 40 years experience in the horse industry. Whiskey Run has been in operation for 23 years and is named after our well known breeding stallion, Tennessee Whiskey.  Whiskey was a Foundation Stallion for the SSHBEA. He was the first recognized homozygous spotted stallion registered and has sired over 600 foals -100% spotted!  In July 2010, he was buried under the shade trees by the old pond on the farm named for him, Whiskey Run.

Whiskey Run offers professional training for both trail and show horses.

We generally have a few good horses for sale - both for trail and show.  We will try to keep them listed as they become available.

We now offer stud service from our black Tennessee Walking Horse, JFK’s Coin Pusher, affectionately called Star.  He's pictured keg shod.
